Skylight Solutions & More, LLC. was formed in 2003 after it became evident to us that there was a need for a skylight and plastic company that offered both reasonable prices and quality products in the Southwest Florida area. After considering several alternatives, we decided to primarily focus on products marketed/manufactured by General Electric®, including GE® skylights. We chose GE® because they have a strong track record of producing quality products, and also, as a company, they have stood the test of time.  This was important to us, because any product warranty is only as good as the company that backs it up. We wanted to be sure that our suppliers would still be in business should one of our customers ever have a warranty claim. In addition we have a long time relationship with the skylight production manager and also the general plant manager at GE® and they always strive to get us what we need when we need it.

In 2004, after Hurricane Charley, we determined that there was a serious need for a comprehensive company that could provide skylights and hurricane protection in a “one stop shopping� format. While we had always provided clear hurricane protection panels and overglazing, we determined to focus more of our attention on providing and installing a selection of quality hurricane protection items that had actually withstood hurricanes in the past. We also work with reliable roofing companies to coordinate installation of GE Guardian® or CAT-5® Metro Dade Approved hurricane rated skylights for homeowners that need this service. Due to our working relationship with many fine roofing companies, and our long experience in the skylight field, we are often able to coordinate a more timely and efficient installation of skylights, or to refer good roofing companies to our customers.
